As of today, four of my paintings are in a exhibition about recycling in Gorcums Museum, in my hometown. So proud! Exhibition: “Te mooi om weg te gooien” (“Too good to throw away”) 1st of March till 1st of June Gorcums Museum Grote Markt 17 4201EB Gorinchem The Netherlands
Some time ago my friend Ady ordered two matching pendants, one for him and one for his girlfriend Clare. They made the designs themselves, representing their star signs Gemini and Libra and featuring each others birthstones.
Today this portrait was delivered to the new happy owners. Very proud of this one! It was an absolute joy to paint little Naomi
Great news! I’ve been invited to join an exhibition in my hometown’s museum about recycling in art! I feel really blessed… Some of my sparrows will be on show. I’ve sold almost all of them, so I’m working hard on some new ones…. Here’s a sneak preview! “Te mooi om weg te gooien” “too good to be thrown away” Gorcums Museum Grote Markt 17...
I’ll be joining this expo in Gorinchem on november the 30th. There’ll be about ten artists with all kinds of lovely items for sale: jewellery, paintings, crotchetted cute monsters, cupcakes, ceramics… There’ll even be a DJ! So save the date and visit us: Uit de hand (Out of hand) De bank van Noppes Zusterstraat 19 4201 EK Gorinchem
Mari from Finland fell in love with this beautiful Drusy stone. Feel honoured that I could make her this lovely ring. I kept the design simple, so all the credit goes to the stone.
Love painting these sparrows. At first glance they appear quite plain, but if you look closer there’s so much colour! This one was assigned to me by Barrie for his girlfriend Nicole’s 40th birthday.
Made for a friend of mine, Joost van Zuilen, who made awsome speakers and wanted to have his logo on a ring… The log is in silver on a brass ring.
Here’s one I made for my brother Hidde as a birthday gift. The top stone is a Hiddenite and the other stone is a piece of fossilised dinosaur bone.
Made this lovely pendant for my niece Rebecca. It’s a slice of an Amethyst stalachtite, also known as Amethyst-flower. I have a few slices left, will be making some new ones soon….
Finishing this ring, it matches the “Silver Moonlight”-pendant I made. It will come in different sizes.
Here’s what I’m working on right now. Found this lovely piece of wood in my friends vegetable garden in Sheffield.
Working on a new necklace. This flower-jasper has beautiful patterns. I decided to saw them out, so they can be admired on the backside as well.
At last I have my own cards. This is a wish come true. And please have look at the rest of my site.
